Contact Angle Measuring Device | DataPhysics Instruments, OCA 200
The OCA 200 is a contact angle measuring instrument and drop shape analyzer for the characterization of microscopic and macroscopic structures. The OCA 200’s electrically operated, software controlled optical adjustment allows the angle of observation to be changed and automatic focusing to be performed. With its groundbreaking 10x zoom lens and DataPhysics Instruments’ proven autofocus system, the OCA 200 is suitable for all sample sizes, from macroscopic to microscopic samples. Its electrically driven stage allows microstructured samples to be positioned with high accuracy and exceptional speed. The instrument also features a DDE/X electronic direct dosing system with up to four ESr-N electronic syringe modules, which can be used to deposit liquids on macroscopic samples and analyze their surface parameters. For the analysis of microstructured samples, on the other hand, the nanoliter dosing system is used, which generates small drops of up to 10 nanoliters. For even smaller structures, the picoliter dosing system PDDS is used, which generates droplets as small as 30 picoliters.
